Hey! I'm Doug, founder of Doug's Boutique. I'm a bass player by hobby, and member of the Central Pennsylvania Blues Society and NAMM!
I founded Doug's Boutique in 2026 when I just couldn't tolerate mediocrity anymore and decided to follow my passion for helping others and bringing my resourcefulness to fruition by opening my own music shop! I specialize in the sales, repair, and technical advice when it comes to sound and technology. I bring representation of musicians to brands and connecting people with the gear that will serve them best! I embrace modern technology and traditional analog features to bring the best of both worlds to your sonic needs!
I'm a fan of a good deal and I bring only items that I stand behind the quality of to provide you a selection for all of your needs - whether they are for touring on the big stage or just rocking out in the bedroom - because we should all follow our passion. Not to mention, all of our gear needs service from time to time, and why not enjoy a good conversation while doing it? That's my philosophy towards life and I bring it here to the shop as well.
