The 614 / 632 series was built by Harmony, and introduced in late 1953 (its much rarer blonde sibling, the 634 came along at the model number change in mid-'58). It remained the mid-range guitar throughout its seven-year lifespan; its distinction in the Silvertone line was the 'snowflake' stenciled fret markers. These guitars were exclusively sold through Sears and were based on Harmony guitars. This eonomical acoustic, "Grand Concert" size, includes a metal tailpiece and floating bridge.
This used model is in fair condition. It shows clear signs of age and has noticeable neck warp above the 7th to 12th fret. Some cracks are noticeable in the back, but still plays well and has a warm tone.
